Williams-Sonoma Settles Claims with CPSC Over Pottery Barn Kids Roman Shades

The company “knowingly failed” to report a hazardous product according to the CPSC which levied a $700,000 penalty. Last year, the retailer agreed to pay nearly $1 million for failure to report defective wooden hammock stands, the commission said. As part of that penalty, the company agreed to install a new compliance program for product safety.
